Meet Tommy Re

Tommy Re is passionate about helping organizations thrive by developing the communication skills of their talented professionals and managers. With experience ranging from the Broadway stage to corporate boardrooms, Tommy brings his unique perspective, energy and passion for communication to every client engagement.

Tommy works with executives and business leaders to diagnose barriers to high performance and design talent solutions that lead to individual and organizational success. He has spent more than 25 years working in the field of organizational development and training. His experience includes corporate leadership roles as Chief People Officer for a business supply company and as senior sales executive for a technology training company. Tommy has also served as a consultant for leading companies including Amgen, Biogen, Novo Nordisk, Marriott, BMW, Total Facilities Solutions, Worldwide Clinical Trials, and many more.

With background as a student of communications and continued engagement with the academic community, Tommy bases his training programs in academic research. He holds a master’s degree in corporate communication from Seton Hall University, he has been on the teaching staff and taught public speaking at the University of Phoenix, and he is a frequent guest speaker on leadership in the MSW program at NC State University. Tommy is a volunteer consultant for the Executive Service Corps of the Triangle, which provides organizational development consulting and training services to central North Carolina’s nonprofit community.

Beginning his career as a professional actor and appearing on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning original production of A Chorus Line, Tommy shares his passion for performance and communication to help leaders and business professionals master the skills - and fun - of effective communication.

Kristina Hayes, SPHR

Kristina is passionate about helping organizations achieve their potential through their people. With over 20 years of experience partnering with business leaders to design and develop training solutions, she specializes in guiding organizations to find practical solutions for their talent development and organizational performance needs. Kristina started her career at Dow Corning Corporation, where she led change management for an early SAP implementation. She then pursued her calling as a consultant with Deloitte and has since worked in both internal and external consulting roles, partnering with leading global organizations including Novartis, IQVIA, Merck, Cisco, Raytheon, Syneos Health, and Pfizer. Kristina believes in the power of courage and adaptability in the development of both individuals and organizations.

David Mantica

David brings deep experience to roles in executive leadership training, product management, marketing, and operations capacities. With over 22 years as a leader in the training, coaching, and consulting industry, he specializes in business-to-business human capital transformation. David has led or conducted product management efforts around more than 300 training courses, addressing development opportunities in a range of industries including software development lifecycle, telecommunications, finance, healthcare IT, and marketing. He has a unique ability to understand the alignment of business needs and technology resources, and delivers training solutions to help professionals achieve competitive advantage through technology skills.

Erica Gloss, MSOD

Erica is an executive coach, workshop facilitator, speaker, and adjunct professor who works at the intersection of people and process. She has over 16 years of corporate experience providing effective change solutions through leadership development, action-oriented executive coaching, capacity building, and training. With a deep understanding of the dynamics affecting both the individual and the organization, Erica helps business professionals navigate multi-stakeholder environments and facilitate effective decision making. Her philosophy focuses on helping professionals bridge the gap between idea and action, with an approach centering on exploring unique ways to incorporate the strengths of the individual with the operational needs of the organization.

Alyssa D'Avanzo

 Alyssa is motivated by inspiring people through imagery and story. She developed her craft during her years in the College of Design at N.C. State University and worked in publishing as an artist and graphic designer for many years thereafter. She has been fortunate to be a teacher of digital art for high school and middle school students, sharing her passion for creative work. She was called to push her creativity beyond the page as a filmmaker and is creating videos and imagery as part of the VITAL Talent team.

Jennae Jacob

Jennae is an eLearning and Digital Media Specialist who thrives in challenging creative environments. She attained a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications Management with a concentration in Cross Media Production, as well as a minor in General Business. Jennae kicked off her professional experience working in Digital Marketing at Salice America. During her time there, she created advertisements along with many other promotional materials, and cultivated her passion for communications and design. Jennae then took on a Communications position at UCB Biosciences where she wrote and published internal and external pieces across various platforms on both national and global scales, and developed creative material including social media posts, infographics, video, and presentations. Jennae has a diverse skillset she is eager to utilize to produce the right communications solutions.

Liz Earnhardt

Liz discovered a passion for communications during her time at East Carolina University, receiving a master's degree in the field. As Assistant Director of ECU’s Speech Communication Center, she coached students and faculty, preparing them for presentations, residency interviews, pitch competitions, and more. Throughout the pandemic she embraced a creative approach, pivoting to help her students and fellow staff members navigate communication in a virtual environment. She is passionate about helping others overcome communication apprehension, enabling them to find their voice and build their confidence. Prior to joining the VITAL Talent team, she worked as a CRS in Duke’s Clinical Translational Science Institute, sparking a love for research. She continues to engage in research at VITAL, searching for communications theories and frameworks that will help both organizations and individuals excel.

Rachel Melnotte

Rachel brings a passion for memorable communication and a keen eye for detail to VITAL Talent’s content development. She ensures both client- and public-facing products - from workshop scripts to blog posts - are polished, engaging, and informative. Her responsibilities range from copy development to quality assurance to research and organization.
